Two groups of Kings County enthusiasts left this morning to represent New Brunswick and Canada in national and international water events.

Serge Bergeron, captain of the Kennebecasis Rowing Club, said five mile rowers from his club, with himself and a coach, were joined by five women rowers from Fredericton Rowing Club to represent New Brunswick at the national rowing championships in Welland, Ont., this coming weekend.

The combined team will move on to the Canadian Henley international rowing competition at St. Catharines, Ont., the following weekend.
