St. Catherines, Ont. - Andrew Boyles of Kennebecasis Rowing Club lost out by just a foot Thursday in the final of 135-pound class at the 97^th Royal Canadian Henley being held here.

Boyles had been two boat lengths behind winner Mike Florio of New york Athletic Club at the 1,600 metre event but closed the distance rapidly at the end.

In pairs competition, Brian and Henry Flood of the same club finished fourth in the final of the 155-pound class.
