FREDERICTON- Kennebecasis Rowing Club won four of the eight events to dominate competition at the New Brunswick rowing championships Sunday.

The Kennebecasis rowers captured the men's straight four, men's eight, lightweight four with coxwain and men's open pair events.

Brian and Henry Flood were the key men in the championships as they both were on all four winning squads.

The two teamed to win the men's open pair event while they won the lightweight four with coxwain with John Allen, Rick Cassidy and Dan McGuire. In the men's straight four, they won along with Cassidy and Allen while in the men's eight other members of the team were Cassidy, John Allen, Mark Allen, Dave Loweon, Tom Chamberlain, McGuire and Dave Allen.

North Star Rowing Club from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Mic Mac club also of Dartmouth each won a pair of the remaining four events.
