Coxswain Mark Fawcett is at left, while the oarsmen are, front to-back, Chris Flood, Doug Boyle, Tim Oland and Wayne Macfarlane. They won the six-mile race by 10.5 seconds over the British crew from Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Click here to see full size. BOAT HOUSE OPENED - Dr. C. H. and Mrs. Bonnycastle stand in front of the Canada Games boat house at Renforth which was officially opened Saturday. It was the first of the 15 Canada Games venues to be officially opened. The building was dedicated to Dr. Bonnycastle who organized the Kennebecasis Rowing and Canoe Club.
